Hey,
I was born and raised in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. I was raised in a tight knit family with a courageous mother, three wonderful brothers, and a sweet tuxedo cat. The values ingrained inside me by my family members are hard work, resilience, and empathy. Growing up I had the privilege of being surrounded by towering mountains and the raging Roaring Fork, it ingrained in me a love for the outdoors and an appreciation for nature. I spend my weekends outdoors, my favorite pastime is hiking new trails and listening to true crime podcasts. I find true peace when away from the noise and when I can deeply think about what is important to me.
I come from a family of immigrants and I proudly am a first generation college student working on my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Public Relations and Advertising. I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to earn an education because those before me whether that be my immediate family or community did not have the same privilege. My past three years at school, I’ve tried to leverage every opportunity I can find to get the most out of this unforgettable experience. I have held many leadership positions on campus and have worked in the non-profit, government, and private sector throughout my internships. I stress this involvement as its what has taken up a majority of my life since starting school!
During my free time on the weekends I like to spend my time watching movies at home and at the nearest movie theater with an icee in hand. I like ending my nights with a book, usually a horror or true crime book from the NYT bestsellers list. I love to transport myself into worlds and stories that are different to my own, so I can feel inspired by excellent storytellers. I love food so much! I have a growing list of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. I feel so lucky to try so many delicious cuisines in different neighborhoods around the city. Along with consuming content, going outside, and eating I prioritize spending time with my boyfriend and family anyway I can. I often call one of them at a time and have never ending conversations to keep each other up to date on life. I try to stay present and be grateful for each day.
